![]() I thank You, Lord, for a roof over my head. and I thank You for a warm bed, Also for food to eat, And for the shoes on my feet. I thank You, Lord, for eyes that see And because You care for me. I thank You for ears that hear And for Your presence so very near. I thank You, Lord, for feet that walk And because I'm able to talk. I thank You for hands to use To do the things I need to do. Without You, Lord, I'd have none of these, So I now thank You, down on my knees. For all the blessings You've given me, Help me always be thankful to Thee. |

![]() IT MATTERS NOT WHAT COMES OR GOES OR IN WHICH DIRECTION LIFE'S WINDS MAY BLOW; THO DOWN UNCERTAIN PATHS I TROD, CLOSELY WATCHING IS AN ALL SEEING GOD. HE STRETCHES FORTH HIS HAND OF LOVE; AND I FEEL HIS PRESENCE FROM ABOVE. THO LIFE'S DIFFICULTIES I MAY FACE EACH DAY; I KNOW MY GOD WILL MAKE A WAY. MY GOD IS ABLE TO CALM MY FEARS; ONE DAY HE'LL WIPE AWAY MY TEARS. WHEN THINGS AREN'T THE WAY I WANT THEM TO BE; STILL I KNOW THERE'S A GOD WHO CARES FOR ME. AUTHOR...EVELENE COCHRAN |

![]() And the snow outside is up to your knees, Where can you go to find warmth and safety? There is only One place I know...Jesus. The One who spoke the universe into it's existence. The One who created all that there is. The One who created mankind In His likeness...Jesus. With Jesus, I can stay where I will be warm. I don't need to go to a building, Or find a specific altar. To worship and adore Him. He is the Love of my life and He is, The reason this world keeps on turning. There is only One who is good. Only One who is perfect. He is the Author and the Finisher Of our faith. And He sees our struggles and comes To help us carry the load. You will only find such a friend in Jesus. Keep Him in sight, no matter Whatever your plight. Never take your eyes off the One Who gave His all for you. Often times, people judge God By what they see in His little ones. But all people fail at one time or another. And that is reality, we are still human. There is only One who will never fail. There is only One who loves you, With a pure heart and only wants What is the very best for you. Look only to One Person, The Person That is God, Jesus ![]() At Your feet I lay this rose, A thing of beauty, But cannot compare To the wonder that is You. Stormee |

![]() The drifting clouds so high A blazing sun, the moon and stars The blue and endless sky. Did God not make the hollyhock The lovely daffodil A purple violet and lilac tree The evening whip-poop-will. Did God not make the yellow finch The robin flying low A meadowlark, the jay and wren The black bird and the crow. Did God not make the oceans deep The clear and sparkling stream A babbling brook, the lakes and ponds The geysers filled with stream. Did God not make the shifting sand The rivers gentle flow A field of grain, the rolling plain The valley down below. Did God not make the grace of spring The rainbows vibrant hue A winter snow, the autumn leaves The morning filled with dew. Did God not make the mountains high The stately trees so tall A blade of grass, the thunderstorm The dear Lord made them all. (c)2001 Marilyn Ferguson |

![]() This earthly course of ours Its path leads to the pearly gates On past the distant stars. The sacred stairs go to a home That bathed in holy light And crystal skies are patronized By angels dressed in white. A wondorous place so full of grace Ruled by the Shepherd's rod Where Jesus holds the book of life Before the throne of God. Another stairway cold and grim Goes just the other way On past the point of no return To a world so dark and gray. This place is filled with chambers Down in the pits of doom A fiery blaze engulfs it all And demons guard each room. A world that has no mercy A dungeon of despair Where endless pain and torture reign And brimstone fills the air. An invisible stairway beckons us A place we all must go We can choose to rise to paradise Or perish down below. (c)2001 Marilyn Ferguson |
